Thanks for posting those lists. By the time I got to the bottom of the first list, I'd forgotten them all and thought the second list was funnier. DIQ? WMTC? (Do I qualify? Where's my tea cosy.)

It has just been announced that ladies will be able to join Morris Dancing Clubs......:o

Rest assured though chaps, that they will only be able to partake as muscians and other non-participating roles, which leaves the way for us butch fellows to keep jingling our bells and waving our hankies. :D

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/8469817/Morris-men-must-allow-in-morris-women-but-not-to-dance.html

I see they've got clubs in that photo in the Telegraph - I always thought they only waived their dainty little hankies...

3 weeks today, 19th May, wifey, bless her, and I will be venturing to Manila for our 1st wedding anniversary, celebrating with her family.

We are trying to find the best L.C,C.airline.

Jetstar, to Singapore then on to Manila.

Then we will use Cebu Pacific to where ever we decide, Cambodia, Vietnam etc and on to LoS.

AirAsia from BKK to Phuket, then back to Singapore and home again, with which airline not decided.

Love AirAsia, except all flites go via KL_LCC, a nuisance.

Has anyone done a long trip with Jetstar?

Any problems, any experiences, good or bad we would appreciate, thank you.

Ditto with Cebu Pacific.

Jetstar from Auckland to Manila, $NZ359.00 one way, with add-ons, meals, seat choice and stuff, our choices, $NZ835.00 for two people

Costs more than that with main airlines for one person.

Wundrin how scungy, will be the Jetstar experience.

Cheers and thanks in advance.

1 year? Has it been that long, Pete? Wow. Congrats.

That's a very inexpensive flight....but how much is it to return?

BTW....has anyone put in a request for duty free ciggies? Stace? If not., may I put my name down?..... Winfield Red, please :) As many cartons as the two of you can get away with.

Tee hee...............I've crept into OTB and done a bit of Bedlamizing.

Sometimes being naughty is good for your soul.............

Well done, Limpy - the Sandbox could certainly do with some Bedlamisation...

Sorry I missed you. I took the boy rock fishing (caught nowt but nice day out).

$81 is a WHOLE lot better than $127! If you can, that would be nice....but I understand if you can't....no worries.

How long before we get a Bedlam on-line duty-free shopping thread as I'm thinking of ordering a bottle of Laphroaig ?

How long before we get a Bedlam on-line duty-free shopping thread as I'm thinking of ordering a bottle of Laphroaig ?

Ken, a damned good idea.

I do at times bring stuff to the LoS for friends.

Mind you, close friends, whom I know will cough up the dosh.

Generally it is on my return to NZ.

What I would like to know is the best DF shops in S.E.A. as I often return from Manila, Swampy or Singers.

King Power is dearer than many Banger shops.

Next return, June, will most likely be fron Changi, where we will be passing thru' on our way to MNL and I will be able to check out prices.

More thoughts on a fred like this could be helpful.

Bottoms up all.

My local DF online store, check it out.

70cl / 50.3%One of only 31 bottles for a group of Swedish Friends of Laphroaig. Bottled for the the whisky cruise on the Viking Line Cinderella ferry.£1,226.26 Inc. VAT

50.3%! They would do better with "Swedish cocaine"....(A line of ground coffee folded in a slice of lemon to accompany a shot of vodka) and about a tenth the price.

Impressive! I never got past the Aquavit.

edit: and the Vodka of course.

Hello Bedlam. I had trouble getting in here today - could get into other TV forums, but not Bedlam. Same with other 'net sites - some would load, others wouldn't. Seems to have come good for now...

Those meat rolls look very similar to the ones sold at Macro.
