Anyone Know A Salon Where I Can Get Permanent Hair Straightening?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Just wondering if any of you can recommend a reputable salon in Bangkok where I can get my hair permanently straightened, in particular I'm after somewhere that does ionic straightening as I hear it is the least harsh way of doing it. (Yup, I'm a farang, and humidity makes me look like a Neanderthal!!!) I can't have the Yuko system cos my hair is coloured.

I know this is a very specific question but I'd be really grateful to hear any suggestions.

Cheers :o

Hi there.

You can try out this place in Siam. It's called Art Hair. They call the treatment "Magic Straight". If you come before 11 AM, they give you a 15% discount, on top of all the other discounts that they give. The entire process takes 4 hours to be done... so better be early cause the queue is long... a lot of Thai women have this treatment done.

At the end of the day, it would set you back by around THB 600-900 depending on the length of your hair. Look for Kenny... he's the hair dresser who speaks the best English amongst the sea of hair dressers.
