A 30 second google search found the above.  I've never heard of coyote dance, only coyote bar which is a mexican restaruant that has a whole lot of different margaritas available.

But Coyote Bar and Grill on Patong beach road is a Mexican themed restaurant with loads and loads of margaritas!!

Think of Chilies restaurant if you know one or other teamed restaurants TGI Fridays, Outback Steakhouse, Hardrock Cafe ect.

the term, as far as i know, was brought about from Coyote Ugly, the movie. personally, i found the women in that movie to be very hot and sexy, but the coyote dancers here just dont come up to the bar on that (pardon the pun(s))

Just as an aside, there is also a Coyote Bar on Soi Seadragon. They have live music and used to have a team in the dart league. As for Coyote Dancing, it is taken from the movie Coyote Ugly as Donna said, but it is more common in Thai-oriented bars here than in tourist oriented ones, where a-go-go seems to be preferred. Look for ads on the front page of section 2 of the Thai newspaper Siang Tai to see where you can find it in Phuket Town.

Coyote dancing is an erotic style (simulating intercourse) in which the male and female grind parts of their anatomy together facing together or with the female with her back to the male, sometimes with her hands on the floor/bench/table etc. Imported from USA.

The "Coyote" concept is simply this: women in street clothes (or a subset thereof) dancing on top of a bar. No more, no less.

Is that related to the 'Coyote Morning' concept where you find naked unknown/unwelcome women in your bed ... Sorry, could not resist that after reading the last comment.
