After reading the stories about the Thailand Banking debt situation I got to thinking about the dozen or so Thai employees I've hired over the years

Over the course of the past 2 years I've had to write letters to their respective banks saying they work for the same company as myself and that they have a guaranteed monthy income of XXXXXTHB

I'm just wondering what would happen if one them quits and refuses to pay his c'card bill - would the banks come after me?

Just checked the standard letter I always use and it has written "monthly salary of xxxx". I never actually mention the word guaramteed

Hopefully I should be ok?

No problems on the horizon for you. There's no way you can be held responsible fot the cards whatsoever.
