With Christmas and New Year approaching how is the vibe in the beloved island?

Already packed, beaches full, good weather and prices skyrocketing?

And what about new robberies to falang on motorbikes between Kata and Rawai???Is security improving??

For sure the high season is here. Hotel/room prices at peak prices. Beaches quite busy, lots of people about.

Weather good, although a little overcast last few days.

Not heard any media reports about attacks on m/biking tourists. I've heard (not seen) that there are now police patrols at night on the Kata to Rawai road.
