Arrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhh...............The word I used on my fiftieth birthday as my ACL, MCL, Meniscus and cartilage, exploded as I tried ( pissed) to bench press a fellow reveller who bet me a bottle of champers I couldn't do it....sadly he was right.

How do you blow a knee when you're lying on a bench?

It's all about upper body strength isn't it?

Well spotted, I actually meant shoulder press and I was trying it in a bar surrounded by knobs cheering me on. Slipped in the beer, down he came, out went my knee. ACL, MCL, Meniscus, Cartilage, and fracture. Wife not to amused.

Maybe it wasn't someone's knee he was trying to blow. He did say "bench press"....which might not actually be a weightlifting term.

Meh!

That's my word for 2010: Meh!. Most people I know had a similar experience.

Here's hoping 2011 will be better, I'm confident it will be.
