I met up with our Dear Knees in Phuket and we went up to Khao Lak (on one of my photo shoots) 1 year later...

and then on my own 2 years later same place

Also our Dear Knees pubilished a couple of me photos, and yes we miss her posting.

i dont think shes online too often these days. i get an occasional email from her and all is well. in fact, i may be lucky enough to have a visit from her in bali in the next week or two. yay.

I'm happy to inform you guys I just received an email from Khall/Kerrie.

She's fine and was traveling most of the time, visiting family and friends and a portable hard drive went down; died so to speak with all her work on it....

She mentioned Bali also.................

Howdy y'all!!!!

So nice to know I'm a little bit loved. Have been back on the big island for a few months and as Donna mentioned am travelling most of the time. To be honest, I felt so displaced with reverse culture shock and emotional about all the life changes that I couldn't sit still in one place for more than a week or so. As a result I've been all over the east coast from Sydney to Cairns. Has been fabulous catching up with some dear close friends, the family are another matter - just expect me to forget I ever lived in Asia and wind the clock back a few decades and get on with the life path I was supposed to follow in the first place - haha!

The biggest trauma was having to deal with my life possessions in storage. After paying to keep all those boxes and furniture for so many years I just didn't know what to do with it all. It was an adventure just getting to it, way off on the north coast. The moment came and, with a lot of coercion from my friend, gave most away to charity. Yay- it felt sooooooo good to be free of all that old stuff!!

Anyways, at the moment am back in Cairns - where I lived before moving to Phuket in 02 - it's monsoon season (can't believe the rain has followed me everywhere for over 2 mths now). So I feel at home here, much more at peace than any other place. I just may end up living back in the tropical jungle again.

Tomorrow is a new beginning and I have a new mission to try and retrieve my lost data off a collapsed hard drive. Anyone know a computer whizz in these parts? I've got a few unfinished stories in that little box

Hopefully will be online a bit more now to catch up on Thaivisa land!

About the hard disk.....of course I don't know anybody in that area, but why don't you call the SUPER chief of Police in Cairns......tell him you have a 'secret' story and you need help from a (police) whizz kid...
