I just looked at their site and although the DMax got half a star more it got less points in the test! So i think the L200 is looking good now

They are going to outlaw all bullbars too as the airbag deployment time suffers with them on, ( all modern trucks ) i just had a trade flier to not sell any more for newer vehicles,the insurance companies are stipulating no bumper guards unless plastic,full details to follow,.

NISSAN is recalling all 28,000 of its Navara pickup trucks sold in Britain after crash tests revealed a high risk of fatal injury in accidents.

The £17,615 motor is Britain’s top-selling 4x4.

But tests by safety body Euro NCAP revealed the passenger compartment becomes “unstable” in a frontal impact.

A report says front seat passengers face “life-threatening injury” to the neck.

The problem is made worse by a delay in the firing of the airbags.

Nissan is to modify the airbag activation system but insisted the vehicle is “completely safe”.
