Thai Gf Visiting Malaysia For Three Months

Featured Replies

Although a Thai can visit Malaysia for up to one month without a visa, I'm not clear about the procedure for a longer stay. One source says they can request a longer stay on arrival, but the Malaysian immigration website, which isn't very helpful, seems to be saying that they should apply for a visa before they go.

Does anyone know which is right?

About 8 years ago, my then GF lived with me in KL. She got 30 days on each entry, we just made a weekend trip to Singapore or Hat Yai every month. Did that for almost a year.

Never tried to get extension or longer visa. Kinda enjoyed the trips every month....
