Hi All,

This is my first time posting at this forum. My wife wants to learn how to ride a motorcycle and as a husband I don’t think I should be the one to teach her. She is in that small group of Thais’ that don’t know how to ride a motorcycle. We live in the U.S. and the smallest motorcycles here are 250CC. She not going to get here license in Thailand, just want her to learn the basic of how to ride a motorcycle with a manual clutch. We will be in Thailand in June for one mouth. I know there a small size motorcycle in Thailand that she can learn on and to have an instructor teaching here in Thai would help too. So any information on lessons in Bangkok or Pattaya will help.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I had a cousin who did the Harley Davidson Rider's Edge. Now, before you roll your eyes, you don't actually start off on a Harley. Instead they use a Buell Blast. Nice little beginner's bike, only some 40 HP in a ~350 lb bike. She really learned a lot and it wasn't terribly expensive. You can find the nearest dealer and see if they offer the training at their location.

**edit**

Also, in Bang-Na there's a Honda training school. It's on Srinarkarin Road on the way to Sam Long. I can't vouch for the quality of instruction, but it's a piece of information I can give you.
