Why British?

It's a French web-site and I haven't seen a Brit dressed that well since the ICF (Inter-City Firm) were broken up.

YEs it came from a french website, a french employee sent it to me as they where english, you can hear the voices at the end.. HELP ME :o

I don't mind saying I derived some evil pleasure from watching that.

So - let's see who speaks English as a first language :

Scots

Welsh

Irish

Americans

Canadians

Australians

New Zealanders

South Africans

Oh - and English (about one seventh of that total)

So the chances of it being English idiots are about 1:7

Also the chances of a French web-site dubbing-in an English sound track are very good.

Personally I would have put it at a German or Russian yob, but my computer does not have sound, so I miss some interesting bits at times.

Karma is not an entirely Thai or Bhuddist concept thankfully.

Sounds like an English accent to me. :o

Hence why i started it as British yobs :D

Has to be said though........Euro 2008 has been awash with hooliganism. Germans, Turks, just about all of them have rioted with hardly a mention in the English language media. Now if two Brits would have started a punch-up, well........ throw them out, national shame etc etc would be heard from every source.

One rule for all in Europe ? I think not.

To be honest, though I may be in error, I'm not convinced as to the veracity of the clip or the soundtrack. Given the weight of the cinder/concrete panels falling on his ankle, I'd be inclined to suggest a touch of Anglo-Saxon might be more likely to be heard, secondly the last few frames of the 'kick' don't look real.

Regards

I thought the response "help me" at the end of the clip was a little lame considering that his leg would practically be amputated, or crushed to such a degree that amputation is the likely treatment.

Don't think I'd be calmly saying "help me". Bu then again, I wouldn't have been doing it in the first place.

The phrase "help me" at the end seems to have been spoken by the camera guy, or the one closest to the microphone. If you listen carefully, you can hear the kid screaming out in pain, while the person holding the camera cries out for someone to "help me" release that kid, and the camera starts to move and blur as they run toward him. It looks real, and the accents sound English.

Same observation, however the cries of anguish could have come from a tethered goat !!

just re watched again

1) They are 100 % english via the commentary

2) At the end of the video, i agree it went a bit awol, but then again if you where shooting this on a camera phone ( as they where ) you would panick alot if you saw that it real life

Conclusion

dont be a <deleted> and beat up concrete walls!, there are better things in life, like soi 6 :o

Definitely southern English. :D

Scouse.

Yeah, southern English <deleted>! :o

Definitely southern English. :D

One legged Southern English <deleted> :D

Here we go again.................Yes he was probably legless and was on his toes at the first sign of the OB, which was of course a knee jerk reaction as he was hopping mad being booted out of the footie club, for kicking the ball round the wrong wall.

Definitely southern English. :D

Scouse.

Yeah, southern English <deleted>! :o

One legged Southern English <deleted> :D

But this will work in his favour in the UK. He is already now ell on the way to gaining maximum state benefits ( well he has a foot in the door at least )

Now he just has to declare himself Welsh, paint himself black and after becoming a one-parent lesbian with his one foot, he's quids in !!!!

where scouse comes from they would be stealing the wall not breaking it :D

colino

where scouse comes from they would be stealing the wall not breaking it :D

Only if it was made from lead :o

Historically, I can't fault Thaddeus' comment but with the decline in use of lead, the nicking thereof is not as de rigeur as it used to be amongst the local ne'erdowells.

Church roofs now remain, more or less, intact. :o

Scouse.

Let's get the stereotype knives out and have a carvery. If he were Irish he be too thick to understand! :o

Anyone else???

.............and there would have been "tree fellas" instead of just the one now.

That's the turty turd time Ive heard that one! :o
