hi,

next week im going to look at some old tractors with a veiw of bring them over to thailand in the near future. (from uk)

am i right in thinking that if the tractors were broken down ie engine taken out ect... i would get the reduced import rate at the dock? what would the rate be? i know that if you import say a second hand car from X you could pay 200/300% some where i have been told that broken down farm machinery only incures a small duty charge?

if this went ahead the tractors would be mainly for personal use, with maybe one or two being sold on.

thanks.
