Suzuki Car Agents

Good evening to you all,

I am looking for the locations of SUZUKI car agents in Bangkok & Ratchaburi/Prachuap Khirikan provinces.

The agent on Ram Indra road nearest to my current location (Minburi, BKK) has closed down in favour of a new build Tesco/Lotus store.

I have searched the web but end up going in circles.

What I'm looking for is info on the Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV; is it still on the market?

After owning Suzuki's for 12 years, Carribean and then Vitara V6,

I gave up.

It is too difficult to get service outside Bangkok.

The Chonburi dealer has switched to Mercedes.

Shame. The Vitata V6 was great to drive,

but my Toyota Sport Rider is more economical, and almost as fast.

Thanks Astral, that's what I was afraid of. That Suzuki has been frozen out or simply does not have the support it deserves and is no longer economical to market.

The Vitara has its faults, but what car does not. I like it. But if it's not practical to support it becomes a liability.

I'm looking for an SUV, compact (for wife to drive) petrol engine, 2 litre for overtaking power but with a low ratio for some off-road capability. on the domestic market lthat doesn't leave much. The KIA Sportage perhaps or a dreaded diesel such as you now drive. Economical but not my preference.

I have driven thousands of kms in Thailand in the Honda CRV including the latest model with i-vtec engine and it's a good car, 4 x 4, but limited with no low ratio transfer box.

I'm looking for a new car but would consider pre-owned (didn't we use to call that second hand?)Any ideas or recommendations for an alternatewill be gratefully recieved.

PS: I would love an import or upmarket Landcruiser, Trooper. RR etc and if money was no object I would be going there.
