Featured Replies

SOURCE: Pattaya One News: July 9th 2008

700 copy CD’s seized and one vendor arrested in South Pattaya.

The production and sale of copy CD’s and DVD Movies is illegal here in Thailand and on Tuesday Night, Pattaya Police detained Khun Rachanee aged 25 at the market near Prima Place Apartments on Pattaya Third Road.

She was caught in possession of 700 music CD’s which were copied from original CD’s, which is in breach of copyright. She was charged with various copyright offences and is expected to pay a fine should she be found guilty of the charges in Court.

Only 700, i could take you to various places with about 7 million!

Yeh but they were all Rick Astley, Ricky Martin and Chesney Hawkes CD's, now that is criminal. :o

Last time i was over in Pattaya i noticed some very doubious movies for sale along beach road

Yeh but they were all Rick Astley, Ricky Martin and Chesney Hawkes CD's, now that is criminal. :o

There is "Ricky Martin" brandy on sale in Hanoi.

Wish I had bought a bottle.

25 years old. Obviously the kingpin of this criminal enterprise.

Unfortunately for the "hardened criminal" according to another news organization, the discs were mainly Thai content, so the powers that be will show no mercy.
