Rain........

Featured Replies

It rained at Karon beach yesterday - from 5:45 to about 5:49. Not so much rain as... tears from the clouds.

Sorry, feeling sad again.

Still no rain. Not so cool anymore in the mornings and evenings.

Still see the ocassional Thai wearing socks during the day-time though. :o

Chiang Mai is absolutely beautiful as usual. Can see doi Suthep from my balcony now...she was invisible before due to haze.

As dry as a dry thing in CM at the moment. rain?...wats dat then?

Had just a few spots of rain around midday but not enough to start moaning about. :o

As dry as a dry thing

Isn't it a right bastard when you get writer's block for a one-liner? :D

Pissed down heavily here sometime between around 4 and 8am.

I was looking forward to seeing a bit of welcoming rain so that I could have a good moan about it either raining too much or too little. :D

Now I can only moan about having missed seeing it. :o

Still not seen any rain for ages. I like it. I hope it continues.

Bloody miserable day today has been in Pattaya rained all day (that really wet drizzly type)..........looks like its Thai Visa for me tonight. :o

A few drops in BKK today, Sukhumvit area. Not really worthwhile a one-liner.

It actuall rained here today, not much but definate rain...... It never rains this time of year :o

It really lashed down here again today around 8am. It's cleared a lot of dust off everything and the roads are a bit cleaner. Got caught in a light drizzle around 1pm which eased off at around 2pm.

Cold as a witches tit as well. :o

Very cold just north of Korat too!!

No rain though.....

Our water supply will dry up this month.... :D

Should we start a thread on DROUGHT????? :o

Chiang Mai dry again today but severely overcast in the morning, cleared up later on, but remained cool, however.

Quite nice in Phuket....

No rain though :o .

Rained yesterday in BKK around 5.30ish pm. I was playing football in it. More of a drizzle than a downpoar.

As daybreak dawns,the drizzle drapes,

Dampening the dry but dewed landscape,

Depression descends, drab, dull day,

Cold like England in early May.

Been overcast most of the day here. Felt a few specks of rain on my face around 1pm but nothing since then. :o

We just had a very heavy shower lasting about 30 minutes...

Sun is shining again now though. :o

<deleted>? I was woken up this morning maybe around 4-5am by a deluge of rain.

The rain peltered down with such a force it was almost deafening. Never known there to be rain at this time of year. Usually it comes very close to Songkran.

Is this the effects of climate change? Should I pack up and 'head for the hills'? :o

No, it is just in response to the thread....

Was raining this morning (b4 I woke up) on Sukhumvit in Bangkok.

Chiang Mai perfect and no rain; not saying that rain isn't perfect, but I like it sunny.

i has a yellow shower last night, or maybe i was plastered :o

It's raining in Merseyside, has been for a few hours ..... it is quite mild though.
