It's A Blew Whale

Featured Replies

A PLAYFUL beluga whale looks like it's blowing SMOKE rings as it frolics in the water at an aquarium. The bizarre effect was created as the creature showed off to enthralled visitors by generating a stream of bubbles from its mouth.

The white mammals — usually found in Arctic waters — have proved a huge hit at the aquarium in Hamada, Japan.

They also spurt bubbles from their blowholes and can change the shape of their heads by moving air around their sinuses.

They are often known as Sea Canaries because of their high-pitched squeaks and whistles.

Are they fattening them up?

I was just thinking something similar. Are they thinking that they'll be having him, or his cousin, for dinner later? :o

The way that beluga whale seems to be flirting with the little girl in the picture makes me thankful it isn't a paedophile sperm whale.

Are they fattening them up?

Yes, but only in the interests of science...

Oh yes, it's all perfectly ligit. They just have to keep repeating the experiment to make sure...
