Toyota Camry 2.0g Extremo, Good Buy ?

Featured Replies

I am looking at saloon cars right now and the one I like most (price/quality) is the Toyota Camry 2.0G Extremo. It´s a basic G model with a couple of extra´s thrown in. Link is as follows:

http://www.toyota.co.th/th/models/camry/ca...mo_exterior.htm

I have been asking quotes and it looks like I can get it for Bt 1.285m with the usual extras thrown in, like 40/60% window tinting, parking sensors in the back, free maintenance up to 50,000 km, 1st year insurance free, tool set, carpets & mats, English language user manual, 10% discount on the price of spare parts in the future, etc.. etc...

Would this be a good buy ? I like the Honda Accord better, however the lost of freebies and extras is a lot thinner ....

Looks like good value to me, but I did see one review that said the 2:00 was a little underpowered.

Personally, I'd go for the Accord, as I feel it's more sophistacted from a chassis engineering point of view, has nicer interior and is a better drivers car. The extras are detail compared to the car itself.

I also found the seats more comfortable in the Honda. The only thing that stopped me ordering the Accord was my wife's passion for gigantic suitcases that would never fit in any saloon car.

But either will be a good car in my view .... and for some reason Toyotas seem to have very good second hand values in Thailand.
