I have read all the great advice in the Borehole thread.

Currently I am building in a village called Baan Sriang, about 8 km NE of Sangkat. I will need to drill a substantial water well after the flood water recedes.

Appreciate if anyone has local experience to share, particularly a contact for a good contractor.

The best Advice I could give is to get your wife or g/f to make enquiries as I am sure there will be a local guy who provides this service: I did this in Buriram when I was there: The total cost was 7000 baht at the time and this included the pump etc
