Looking For 1/2 Bed Haad Rin To Rent

Featured Replies

Hey

I am looking for medium - long term accomodation in the Haad Rin area which must be walkable to the FMP. I have a budget of an absolute maximum of 9 - 10k per month. I'm not sure how long i will be staying, but 2 months is a definate and i would like the option, if possible, of extending it at a later date? I'm also willing to negotiate a longer contract if it would bring monthly rent down somewhat.

I don't really have any special wants or needs, a western toilet would be an advantage obviously, but it's not essential. I can get by with no air-con, i never use it when i have it anyway, and any form of kitchen would be a bonus (saves me bringing a camping stove!). Property must be secure, i've had crappy times in the past in Haad Rin with accomodation and i'm super paranoid about it now so the more neighbours the better, and inside bolts would be great. I don't swim so a swimming pool isn't desirable. I'm not a fan of driving on the roads which is why i would like to be close to FMP where my friends will be coming and going to and from in the time i will be there. I will be arriving on or around 1st December (as soon as i sort a visa!)

I have scoured the internet for long term rents (2 - 4 months) but have had no replies from the agents i have contacted :o

Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks for your time! (sorry i rambled...)

Natasha

Frankly, you are better off getting one when you arrive.

I definately appreciate that... but i was hoping for advice on wherever this is possible, as apposed to an offer of accomodation. I've never rented long term in Thailand before, and i am really looking for advice about wherever my wants and needs are above my budget? When i was in Koh Pha Ngan i didn't see any estate agents or adverts for rental property, so i have no idea where to start!

Why 1/2 bed...dont you like sleeping on a full size or are you a midget.... :D:D:o
