I brought one from US. The Innova 3170 US, OBD1&2 Live scan It works for some cars ,lke Lexus, Ford, Chrysler, Vios, but but not for all. So i maybe interested to give a try and buying anotherone if it works for all the above cars. Price is cheap. Can i see Pictures?

hey mate,

no our product doesnt work for every car, it is each for a specific car, as each car has a different protocol.

as long as they are the same engine then it will work, such as the vigo and the fortuner works togather,

as does the triton and the pajero (new)

etc etc.

looks like the photo is a Isuzu? Will it work in a D-Max 3.0 turbo diesel 3 years old?

How extensive and time consuming is the installation process? Does it disturb any existing wiring?

it works for all obd2 cars. is your isuzu a commonrail?

as long as it has obd2 port then it will work.

installation takes 20seconds. just plug it into the obd2 port and away you go!

generally speaking the obd2 will be under the steering wheel.

So if i understand right, each car or engine need a different scantool? Than ist's better to buy a Universal Scantool like Innova, They cover about 70% of all cars, like toyota, chrysler, lexus, ford, etc, even older models with OBD1.

It's different. You have a Monitiring Tool witch stays in the car. The Innova have the same options too. You can Monitorring (live scan), you can check emission controls, fault diagnostic (it's says you wich engine component is faulty) and you can "clear" the codes after fixing the car or replacing the faulty component. Innova is a Tool for Mechanics and Garages. But yours is a Tool to give a driver information about the engine. I think the 5000 Baht is not expensive for monitoring the engine and personally i would buy one, but i allways change my cars very often. So it's not for me. But as a Auto Electrical Engineer (my profession) i see the point of monitoring the engine and i would recommend your tool to everybody.

No aqctually we sale and rent cars now New and Used). I use to have one of the biggest car repair shops in Pattaya 15 Workers, Paintboot, Autolift, Professional Tools and Machines, Diagnostic Center, everything fully equipped over 10 Years. But i learned something. Most of Foreigners who living in Pattaya want everything "CHEAP" and don't give any attention to quality Auto Repairs. Costs for supporting Company and WP Social Security, Tax an VAT for a Auto Garage are to high in compare on the Profit you get and many customer think in Thailand should be everything cheap. So they want use my knowledge and professional Workshop for the same price as a local Backyard Garage would charge them. Therefore i give up my Car Repair shop. Today we do anly rentals and sales and i have a lot of Freetime and no headache with cheap charlies. We can stay in touch if you like, PM me
