My wife has a 2006 Vios and when she bought it was told to use 91 Benzine type fuel. These days that fuel is not sold everywhere - anyone know why?

Also what is the best alternative? The more expensive 95 Benzine or will the cheaper Gasohol mixes be safe to use as well and save at the pump? I heard that some gasohol mixes may harm the engine? Any comments appreciated as we are not mechanically experienced in such matters.

That is a questio9n best asked at the dealer.

PTT I believe sell only gasohol so avoid that brand.

95 super benzine is becoming hard to find & outside BKK impossible.

Thank God for SHELL. The good guys. Sod all socialist governments.

but gasohol also has 10% ethanol which can be harmful to some engines especially older cars with carberetters and nearly all motorcyles that do not have fuel injection or are 2008 model year.

My 2002 Camry has done nearly 250,000km's on G95 (Gasohol 95). Still running like the day I bought it. Something to note: Fuel economy is slightly better on the Gasohol95 than ULR91.

PTT stations sell ULR91, G95, G91, and a few still sell ULG95, with E20, E85 becoming available over this next year.

Cheers. :o
