Hi Guys,

Can anyone please tell me when the first service is due on a Ford Focus (gasahol fuel). I have had the car for 1 year and its done 5K Kilometers. All the documentation that I have is in Thai so I don't understand it. I have been topping up the oil and water periodically.

Help appreciated.

Regular service is every 10,000 kilometers or one year. Mine is now two years old with about 14,000 kilometers on it. It has now been serviced twice.

I'd have thought servicing a car after the first 1000km would be a rather good idea. You really shouldn't need to top up the oil with such a new car. Is it really losing/burning oil?

Thanks for the replies guys. Goldfish i did not explain properly i have had the oil levels checked and no its not burning oil. I don't do that many miles as i often work abroad, but i will book the car in for a service at around 10K.
