take a walk down walking street in pattaya,camera and microphone in hand................the girls will talk but not sure about the sex tourists.

Just make the usual one - about the poor Issaan girls being exploited by the terrible white sex tourists. Don't mention the Thai landlords who own the bars or the girls' Thai boyfriends sitting at home drinking whiskey and beating them around if they don't bring enough money home. Or the parents who might have two or three daughters working in Patong or Pattaya and now have a color TV and a telephone.

Im quite prepared to take you on a little tour and introduce you to some of the girls I know. You would obviously have to cover the expenses of course Available most nights and I don't mind being filmed as long a its equity rates of course. My mate has a card!

Frankly, it would be better to not be so honest and just say it is a film about expats. Ask for expats and start talking to them. Then weed out the non sexpats and talk to the sexpats. Presto. Academy award. Lives ruined. Another tip, when talking to the sexpats during times they are talking about other things, just turn off the camera and let them vent (rig up a dummy on light), that is, if you are using film stock you don't want to waste.

The OP probably got what he expected in the responses. I would have thought there are better avenues for his enquiries than TV. I trust he read the forum rules (especially rule 1) before he posted?

"Sex Tourist" is a very insulting term. A dear friend of mine is deeply offended by it. "I am not a sex tourist, I am a sex resident", he says with pride. You'll find those who live here absolutely hate being referred to as tourists.

Just to address everything in one fell swoop: the film is only concerned with Thailand, particularly a sexworker advocacy group; someone just had to explain what a “troll” was to me (and I definitely am not); didn't mean to start a battle of semantics but I'm just saying I understand both sides of the story and am not trying to put anyone down; I have to be frank and use the term sex tourism (that's what it's about); I'm not sure where I broke any rules about this forum. I know this is a sensitive subject so I thank everyone for their responses so far, both defamatory and helpful, it's all been interesting.
