Ban Chieng Museum

Featured Replies

A friend at lunch today told me that the museum is closed, lack of funding from the Thai Government, UNESCO (he thought), and USIS.

Any truth to this??

If so, can always visit the digs over at the NE corner of the vill at the wat.

We were there mid-afternoon Sunday 25 Jan and it was open.

Thanks, guys, my two friends from the U.S. are flying up to Udorn, got a car arranged to run them out to Ban Chieng, then back to Udorn and on up to the bridge at Nong Khai where they'll head over to Laos for 2-3 weeks.
