Am I Asking Too Much?

Looks like a lovely machine, don't know about the price, I only wanted to comment by saying "Too old to ride" What ya talkin about willis?

I know a group of old blokes back home, some of which are now in their eighties & they are still all riding. One of them actually got off his bike after a days riding with the group when he was in his 70ies & passed away walking between the bike and the front door of his house.

Not sure if you're asking too much... The problem is that there's so many Harleys for sale on the net at the moment, and probably not a lot of peoples ready to spend 20'000 euros in times like these on a bike.

One thing is sure; if you slashed off 300'000 baht on your current price by sunday I would buy it right away. :o

BTW how long has it been for sale?

Hey!

That's one smart bike. Hope it finds a new owner soon.

But come on, too old to ride?

Ride till I die (and I'm not planning a sudden ending here!) is the motto here. Always wanted a HOG, but for me just too much import tax and service issues in Thailand (may not be true, but that's my impression).

750k may be a little steep, especially seeing as it's been on the market for a few months with no takers.

That's how much I paid for my 2003 "Anniversary Edition" Heritage Softail Classic (with a little over 13,000 on the odometer, and very well maintained).

However, it looks like Wranglers sold a 2001 Fatboy for 780k not too long ago. Have you tried advertising it on other sites (especially Thai moto sites) ?

And yeah, unless you're 95, blind, wet yourself 10 times a day, and need a nurse to wipe your butt and spoon feed you pablum, you're not too old to ride !

My 76 year old dad has been putting around on my Phantom, waiting for the paperwork to get done on the 2003 Sportster he's just recently bought ! I expect he'll be riding it to the Burapa Bike week soon after. :o

Just looked at a 02 bike is mint condition with lot of good work on it asking price was 600k but is negotiable so I believe it's a bit steep price. Especially Harleys have gone down a good bit lately.

Gone down a good bit? Please explain more with some examples. The 2000FB is a nice clean looking bike. 750k might be a little stretch. Go to one of the next bike weeks and hang a sign on it and see what offers you get.
