Looking for late night Football Bars Chaps, seems as if i'll be there next week on Weds & there is CL & our Cup Replay which will probably get overlooked now but you never know..

Can anyone recommend where i can watch the Games that late that sells Tiger & will allow me to abuse Plastic Top 4 Fans whilst Singing Bubbles on every visit to the Toilet ?? :o

Reckon i'd end up in a Singapore nick so won't be going there Jimbo....

Seriously, any ideas ??

What's the Gaff where all the people make their Precdictions on Football Forecast on a Friday ??

Try the Sportsman Bar, Far East Plaza, 454 Orchard Road. I haven't been in Singapore for a few years but it is/was a Rangers bar so don't be offended by Scots guys flying the Union Jack.

I certainly won't be & will be all for it..

I'm more of a Teddy Bear that the other lot, by a long way anyway..:o

Thanks Rott, i'll give it a try..

last time I was there had so much trouble finding a place that would stay open late on Sunday to watch the game. found one in the end...but I was the only person watching, while there were couple of other guys at other end of bar looking at me curiously prolly wondering why this woman's eyes were so glued to the TV rather than at them :o

Any of the pubs in Boat Quay, at least they are open long enough in weekends... Maybe something in Orchard Towers, heard they close 6am nowdays...

Last time I was there we watched games at Brewerkz, the micro-brewery and sampled the excellent beers. However all that area closes early on a Sunday, so best for Sat games only...

Great place but busy, need to go early to get good seats. IPA and Golden are my favorites. And good food as well, those spare ribs....

Yet OT is open late, and there are a number of bars that show the football. Last time I was there I ended up watching football in a relatively small bar on the 3rd floor if I remeber correctly. It wasn't to bad, had a decent screen, and as always there's plenty og places to grab some decent food in thatr area. I'm looking forward to my next trip down there next month :o

P.S. Avoid Devils Bar on the Tanglin/Orchard Road corner, it truly sucks, and I am a Man Utd fan.

Msingh, the place you see on ESPN is Chijmes, which is in the CBD on Victoria street. They used to have a dentists chair in one of the bars there a few years back, although I think that may well have gone now.

Orchard Tower - isn't that the place to go to learn Thai?

Nah, not anymore, very mixed group there these days. For real Thai are, go to Golden Mile.

What happened in Singapore then Singho, any interesting anecdotes to regale us with? Four Floors of??

MS didn't make it passed Geylang from what I understood. Was doing a little window shopping, saw they were playing FIFA09 in one of the shophouses - mistakened it for the real thing - came back to Bangkok thinking WH won.

Really James sometimes I despair of you. Are you sure you're not from Salford after all.

My record in Singapore isn't a proud one, 3 stays in Geylang lorong 18 before I realised that those twee looking old chinese/colonial single storey houses weren't quite what they seemed. Well I was so blinded by Singapore's reputation that it just never occurred to me. And I can't remember how many times before I found four floors.

Back on topic, the Gooners have just snaked it.
