Thali Immigration Office

Featured Replies

Now that Chaiyaphum Expats need to use ThaLi for extensions of stay rather than Korat as in the past:

Was wondering if anyone who may have used this office can give a couple of brief clues as to the ease of finding the place and the reception obtained there.

I will need to bus it from Loei and may even need to stay overnight in Loei or ThaLi.

Any info help would be much appreciated.

There's not much there, not even an inside office.

Sorry I had to leave the forum for a while; So ThaLi not really an office, so no room to go inside and finish off doco's and I imagine if you don't have everything intact, you go away and come back again?

Unlike Korat, who if you didn't have something correct, they were a bit more versatile and even had a photo copy facility.

A bit vague here guys, this will be my first extension!

Yes, you go to the window. There is a shelf near the window where you can stand and fill out what you need. I have been there with my friend who has to do the in and out. I use the Chiang Khan office because I don't need to go out of the country. I didn't see any copy machines but one of the small food shops probably has one.

Hey Gary, I don't know where you went, but it is a proper air-conditioned office with tables and chairs, nice people and cool water.

See my post in the main ThaiVisa area.
