Work Permit

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I have received today my Non Immigrant B visa from the Thai cosulate in Birmingham UK for the purpose of applying for a work permit on my arrival in Thailand (Feb 4th).

Is there any way of setting the wheels in motion with a Thai lawyer now ahead of my arrival, as I am shipping a large crate of personal effects which would be due to arrive in Bangkok on the 18th Feb. I am hoping therefore that the import duty will be zero rated for this one off shipping of personal effects from the Uk.

Am I right in my thinking?

Many thanks in advance
