All of this is a joke.

Polls show the reds action overwhelmingly disappeared by Thais. These polls are done by media owned and operated by the army and the pro yellows.

So when an election is held--will the yellows win? NO

The reds will win again and again and again.

Do you posters for the yellow get paid?

You know anyone who is sitting in Thailand is afraid to post anything to critical of the yellows.

Funny how people hate to be locked up or shot.

Facts that are irrefutable.

There have been over 20 coups in Thailand.

The army is rung by people who do not care about democracy.

The Poor of the nation are rejected by the ruling elite and the poor are not so so stupid as you think. The poor keep voting for the reds.

Massive brain washing from birth is used to control power here.

Still. the people are moving for freedom.

If you had an election tomorrow, the Reds would win.

The truth shall set you free.

The people will go free with Bangkok burning if need be.

The generals cannot make their young men shoot all the monks and all the women standing for the reds.

You posting nonsense should feel shame. You should but do you?

Are you even aware of what you are posting? Are you ashamed when you come to read it again? Your first and last lines sum your post up admirably, it is a joke, and it is nonsense. There is no way the reds would win an election held anytime soon. Most of Isaan votes for the same people, no matter what their party is at the time. Many of those people are in the Phumijai party now, and would get voted in under that banner. The South and Bangkok will continue to vote for the Democrats, leaving a few pockets of Isaan and the North to vote for the PTP. Whether all the redwashed members here will accept the outcome really doesn't matter, but I fear the militant reds also won't, and will continue to cause trouble. The government would be well advised to stamp these militants out now. With extreme predjudice if necessary. The country will go free with the reds burning if need be.

I was going to write more, but after rereading your post, it really doesn't deserve the effort.

They have done over 20 now. They threw a man out for cooking on a tv show. maybe next time they can throw one out for not wiping his behind. HAAAAA HAAAA

The reds will win each and every election.

The end is near for the Yellows.

Do you feel shame for being so mean and dishonest?

NO

That is why the Reds will have to go one step more.

Read a book.

Start with the French revolution and end with the Russian revolution.

When people get hungry they get a little testy.

How many of you here think 2000 to 3000 baht a month is a reasonable pay for a worker?

That is a little more than 70 dollars a month.

Now the ruling elite want to take the free health care away too.

Funny how the Europeans who post here always scream and how backward the USA is, and they are correct, for not having health care nationalized.

But some, of the same group post here that they are Pro yellow when the Yellows want to take away the free health care. They are pro yellow when the yellow says openly that it want to do away with the one man one vote rules.

Why would a monk be for either the Yellow faction or the Red faction? Presumably they are above such secular matters and should be preaching andl iving the Dhamma, no?

they didn't throw him out for cooking on a t.v show, they threw him out because he broke the law!

How many coups does Thailand need to get it right?

They are well over 20 now.

Funny how the army men who did the coup wearing yellow arm bands on their shirts all walked away with no charge.

Why is that do you think?

Reds are being charged.

How about the Yellows who held the airport for a week and wrecked the tourism industry?

Why did all of them go free?

The truth is so obvious that I must laugh at the people who do not get it.

Of course farangs who do not get it are just unaware.

Thais posting here are just posting propaganda.

They all know the truth but are here on a farang site posting the propaganda for their cause.

If you lose yellows, you could get kicked out of the nation as did Chinese in Indonesia.

I predict you will lose huge in the next 5 years.

You are in a fight you cannot win.

yes

How many does it need to get it right?

Are you paid to write this repetitive, ill-informed gibberish by the post, or are you just a teenager who has just read the Das Kapital for the first time and got carried away with a People's Revolution fantasy, imagining it to be on the cusp of occuring in Thailand, hot on the heels of this failed Red Revolution to restore 76 billion baht to the Ugliest Kapitalist ex-despot to have sullied Thailand's shores since Sarit Thanarat. :o

Arrest warrants issued for red-shirt leaders in North

By THE NATION ON SUNDAY

Published on April 19, 2009

Arrest warrants were issued yesterday for eleven key members of the red-shirt movement in the North in a crackdown by the government on the pro-Thaksin Shinawatra Democratic Alliance Against Dictatorship (DAAD).

Seven people were charged in Chiang Rai, including Visan Techateeravej, a former Thai Rak Thai party executive who has been banned from politics for five years. Most of those charged were accused of blocking Chiang Rai's main highway and holding an assembly of more than 10 people, a law dating to Thailand's dictatorial period.

In Lamphun, Pheu Thai MP for the province Sathaporn Maneerat was charged, and in Chiang Mai director of Rak Chiang Mai Community Radio Petchawat Wattanaphongsirikul, DJ Kanyapak "Pom" Maneejak and a third person.

The Chiang Mai, three are seeking bail.

Meanwhile, the opposition Pheu Thai Party claimed yesterday that six members of the anti-government Democratic Alliance Against Dictatorship (DAAD) remained missing with one feared dead as a result of last week's political turmoil.

Party spokesman Prompong Nopparit said two persons from Udon Thani had been reported missing, one from Prachuap Kiri Khan and one each from Nonthaburi, Maha Sarakham and Nan.

Prompong said there was one new death and identified the person as 29-year-old Chaiyaporn Kanthang from Phrae. His body is now at Lat Phrao temple, he said.

The Pheu Thai spokesman said relatives of one of the two dead people found floating in the Chao Phya had been pressured by the government to have the body cremated. He added that many reported that a monk, too, had been killed on Monday at Din Daeng Delta.

He said absence of media reports of the deaths might be due to the crackdown having begun at 4am when there was no electricity and few reporters covering the clashes.

He urged the government to lift the emergency decree so that the judicial process could go ahead unimpeded.

Meanwhile, Democrat Party deputy spokesman Varong Dejkitvikrom challenged Pheu Thai to offer solid proof to substantiate the claims.

PM-Samak was found guilty of taking money for presenting a cooking/politics show, while his government was in a position to give them more business or take it away, he also lied about it to the court.

The real joke was that he could have stepped straight back into the PM-slot, but when he showed up at the PPP-meeting to be re-nominated, they put in Senor Thaksin's brother-in-law instead. A great example of loyalty/back-stabbing, from his own side, for the former-PM. :o

I know it gets boring with trolls like madi, but you should also mention that the yellows will not win, because they aren't a party and you can't vote for them at elections (even they are considering to found a party).

So the whole discussion if the Reds (PTP) or the Yellow get more votes is nonsense, as they Yellows aren't a party and will get 0 votes as you simply can't vote for them.

I still believe that the main aim and function of the yellows was :

Not to deny voting rights to the poor in issan,

that was an unfortunate byproduct of one, never implemented, proposal.

But to erase the tenticles and levers of manipulation of the Thaksin / Puu yai political machine

that had been running rampant corruption of unprecedented levels even for Thailand.

Sure the 'elites' likely ALSO liked that idea. But that wasn't the sole main aim.

Always many levels and p-aralel forces working in multiple directions here.

Nothing is cut and dried and perfectly obvious in LOS.

The argument that the opposition did improper things also,

is NOT a pass for doing bigger and worse by Thaksin spiderweb of self interests.

The main point to ALL the dissolutions was that TRT and PPP LEADERS were involved in

election practices they KNEW were illegal and still pursued them.

Vs. a few in other parties unilaterally breaking election laws

but WITHOUT the leadership knowing or condoning it.

Nothing has been thrown at them and stuck,

maybe because it was never big enough to stick.

This is not the demonized Dems of the past's puu yai scare campaigns.

Now we see the TRT banned PPP banned and PTP curerent members involved

in blatant attempts at insurrection in the streets. And warrents going out for them now.

Led by video messages from Thaksin himself calling for "Revolution".

This tells you the level of amorality and self-serving lack of social responsibility,

indelibly embeded in the TRT / PPP / PTP as bed rock functionalities.

Not to mention the blatant HYPOCRISY of that side of the fence.

All they have left is the dregs and the old guard banned hooked their salvation to a dieing horse

According to the police, the seven red-shirt leaders are in Chiang Rai province, and one of them is Visan Techateerawat (TRT Banned #99), a banned politican and former executive of the court-dissolved Thai Rak Thai Party.

more background info on Visaran and his current nominee proxy daughter...

Visaradee is the only daughter of Visarn Techathirawat, one of the 111 former executives (TRT Banned # 99) of the now disbanded Thai Rak Thai Party who were stripped of their electoral rights for five years for electoral fraud.

At 27, she is only one week older than the youngest female MP in Parliament, Chinnicha Wongsawat (seated on right), who is the daughter of former Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat (PPP Banned # 5), who as a Party executive is banned for 5 years for electoral fraud.

Constitution Court Files Defamation Suit against Opposition's Rising Star MP

A rising star from the opposition party, who found herself in the limelight during last week's censure debate, now seems in trouble after the Constitution Court filed a defamation lawsuit against her.

Deputy Secretary-General of the Constitution Court's Office, Chaowana Trimas, revealed that the office had filed a defamation lawsuit against the opposition's rising star MP Visaradee Techateerawat at the Prarajchawang police station yesterday.

The Deputy Secretary-General said Visaradee had insulted the Constitution Court and state officials, violating criminal law acts 198 and 136.

Warrants for seven red shirts

The Chiang Rai provincial court yesterday approved warrants for the arrest of seven people in connection with last week's red-shirt protests.

The seven were accused of taking hundreds of demonstrators to block the Chiang Rai-Phayao section of Phahon Yothin highway at Mae Korn intersection and to rally outside provincial hall.

Among the suspects are former MP Wisarn Techathirawat of the defunct Thai Rak Thai party and prominent businessman Witthaya Tantiphuwanat.

And of course the reds forcing a Chiang Mai gay parade (which was approved and legal!) to be canceled (by threatening to use force/violence, yet another example!) did not exactly make them look any better in my view.

Police offer rewards to locate attackers in Interior Ministry

Police have put a bounty of Bt50,000 for each suspect who allegedly was involved in the attack of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva's motorcade in the Interior Ministry's compound.

Metropolitan Police Chief Police Lt-General Worapong Chewpreecha said police are looking for 20 men who were involved in the attack which left PM's Secretary-General Niphon Prompan, his driver, and a bodyguard injured on April 12.

"We put the bounty of Bt50,000 on each suspect. We will distribute their photos so that the public could help us locate them," he said. Security cameras inside the Interior Ministry could record their faces and the attacks.

Among them, police could identify one; Suporn Attawaong, a former Nakhon Ratchasima MP of defunct People Power Party.

- The Nation / 2009-04-19

==================================

Fact check:

Actually Suporn is a banned MP from the Thai Rak Thai Party (TRT Banned #48). After his banning, he had his brother Samphat run in the election as a People Power Party candidate.

Suporn has an interesting background....

Additional information on the in-fighting amongst the Thai Rak Thai Party...

(Due to the unavailability of a photo of Suporn Atthawong, I have opted for one of his namesake)

Former TRT Party's 'Rambo' shot and wounded in ambush

Nakhon Ratchasima - A former Thai Rak Thai MP was slightly injured when shot on Sunday night and he says he believes the motive was political. Suporn Atthawong, also known as 'Rambo,' was attacked while driving home on Khon Buri-Soeng Sang road in Khon Buri district about 11.25 pm, after dinner with a senior local police officer in Soeng Sang district. He said a group of armed men in a pick-up truck without a registration plate number opened fire at his car. He briefly returned fire, got out of the car and hid in a cassava field for about half an hour. Mr Suporn, a three-time MP for Nakhon Ratchasima's constituency 12, believed the attack was political. He said a rival he refused to name wanted to be elected in the general election. Mr Suporn is one of the 111 former executive members of TRT banned from politics for five years by the Constitution Tribunal on May 30. Mr Suporn said although he was not allowed to hold office for the time being, he was not opting out of politics and was looking for a capable person to run in his constituency. (Incidentally, he's #48 on the List of Banned Thai Rak Thai executives who are banned from political activity for 5 years).

Continued here:

================================================================================

In typical Rambo fashion, it's great that he decided to open fire (perhaps with a M-60 machine gun as pictured above and that Rambo seemed to prefer), but what on Earth is this nonsense about hiding in a cassava field for half an hour like a sissy??!!? :o Rambo would never do that. He would have stormed the attackers with nothing more than a Bowie knife, if need be.

btw, any real photos of Suporn 'Rambo' Atthawong would be appreciated.

Update:

I was able to locate photos of Suporn (including one from the shooting described above)... and uhmm... he's not exactly what I portrayed above nor was he what I imagined he look like...

Police offering reward money to capture attackers on PM's car

Police will grant a one-million-baht reward in total for the arrest of 20 anti-government protesters, who attacked the Prime Minister's motorcade at the Ministry of Interior.

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Pol. Lt. Gen. Worapong Chewpreecha stated that the investigative team had distributed photos of the 20 supporters of the United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD), who were caught on tape during their violent strike on Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva’s car at the Interior Ministry on Sunday, April 12.

He said anyone who helped point out their whereabouts would be rewarded 50,000 baht per head, amounting to 1 million baht in total for all 20 suspects.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Worapong insisted that police had obtained sufficient evidence on their illicit acts while urging them to turn themselves in at the Metropolitan Police Bureau.
