When all is said and done, on todays performance Brum deserved to go up in the automatic spot.

They were more up for it than Reading were today. :)

It's a huge dissapointment for me, but fair's fair.

I wish you Brummies all the best next year

Yes,,,,the best team won and well done Birmingham !!!!!!!

I wtched the Reading game with Sheff Utd/CP on the radio.

I think Reading really need to do something with their man Long....like sell him.

About as much as Sandwell Town had...................look at them now.

Sadly the title WBA FC will mean We're Bottom Again For Christmas this year as well !!!

horrible, horrible away birmingham is. mind you reading isn't that much better TP. :)

One of my favourites Brum Away is..

Into New Street, good Booze, keep your wits about you near the Bull Ring ( is it still there any more ), 3 Points then back home to London at a reasonable hour for a Curry, happy days !! :D

Dont think you can compare going away to Brum and away at Reading lol.

Always thought Reading was a great away day simply because it was very amusing seeing ittle kiddies shouting at us and thinking they are arddd.

been to reading away twice and have been treated like <deleted> both times. coppers there were complete <deleted> and the stewards were ignorant gets too. women and small kids were being crushed against crash barriers before the turnstiles because police horses were forcing the crowd forward but there weren't enough turnstiles to cope with all the away fans. was a bit scary.

That must happen there every week then cos most Clubs would sell their allocation at Reading, especially Prem Clubs ???

Who'd be a Football Fan aye with the way we get treated week in week out ??

As much as i miss my Football, i don't miss the way we get treated, especially as an Away Fan..

don't know mate, can only speak from personal experience there. one mate's wife was pregnant at the time and the coppers would do nothing to help her escape the crush which was being caused by their colleagues.

agree with your last line entirely. miss the away day fun with mates and some cracking days drinking but i don't miss being treated like scum or cattle by ignorant no-mark coppers and stewards.

Steve ,

The answer is to drop down to the Championship and avoid the crowds. :)

Reading fans are not 'ard...they like to think they are (Remember the Reading yoof) .....but copers and stewards are the same everywhere if you are an away fan in my experience...have you been to Cardiff?

i've been to cardiff away as a swansea fan with a mate from there, never, ever again. was like something out of dante's inferno.

know what you mean about reading fans, there were a lot of gobby young sorts who wanted to be mouthy while they were in the premiership, them and our urchins got on famously. but i'm generalising, by the time i left england there were very few aways left which were anything less than unpleasant in terms of stewards and police.

I've been to Ninian Park twice with West Ham & the Charity Shield Liverpool V Arsenal once at the Millenium & even the Ninian Park trips, i thought the Cardiff OB were by far the best OB i have EVER come accross at Football, by a long way..

They obviously have enough practice but they actually treated us with a bit of respect & got it back..

We were laughing at Cardiff who were, as per usual, hiding behind Police Lines giving it the Big One & instead of getting worked up as most Imbecilic Fans would, most of our lot were just laughing at them & the OB found it amusing as they have probably seen that a million times over at Ninian Park...

They did throw p*ss, sh*t & Darts at us too which wasn't funny !!! :D

funniest thing i've heard of being thrown was in the san siro (i wasn't there, mate was watching italy - wales) and the italian fans in the tier above having all stuck their hands down their throats and vomited on the wales fans then set fire to a vespa and hurled that over the balcony. how the fuc_k do you get a vespa scooter into a football stadium?

British people on this forum wouldnt be able to answer that no matter how much brain storming they do, but i bet the majority of Thai motorbike riders could manage to get one in with minimal effort and great ease.
