OK SO I HAVE MY NON IMMIGRANT B EXTEND UP TO 1 YR BY THE IMMIGRATION. THE VISA IS GOING TO EXPIRE LETS SAY ON FEB 16, WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?

DO I HAVE TO GO OUT OF THE COUNTRY TO GET ANOTHER NON IMMIGRANT B? OR I CAN JUST TO IMMIGRATION TO HAVE IT EXTEND AGAIN FOR ANOTHER YEAR,AND THEN TO THE LABOUR DEPARTMENT TO EXTEND THE WP?

You go to immigration with updated documents as you did the first time and obtain another one year extension of stay as long as your income satisfies the requirements and then as you say it is another work permit to match.

Ahh, you made that sound so easy Lopburi.

There is the bit about "under consideration" stamps for the extension while immigration check everything and in pattaya that is involving a site visit and pictures, which may take a little more than a month, so you get another under consideration stamp and all the time you have to extend the work permit for 1 month at a time also.

My latest renewal took 4 "under considerations" even though all the taxes were paid up, social security paid and salary at acceptable levels.

None of this is a problem, just a pain, and as the labour Departnent charges for every extension, adds up over time.

OK, that's my bitch for today. :o
