Hi, would be grateful of any info anyone can give. My daughter is half Thai and was born in the UK. Is it possible for me to get her Thai passport here in the UK without her father being present (he is thai and has gone back to Thailand since her birth)? If better to wait until we visit Thailand, how and where would i go about getting it in Thailand. As the mother of a half Thai child, what visa would i need ( or qualify for i think's a better way of putting it!) if i wanted to move back to Thailand to live without us being married?

I suspect that you may have a long process to obtain a Thai passport without support from the father but your first step should probably be official contact with a Royal Thai Consulate in the UK.
