I live in an apartment that provides me with free Thai Cable Television. I get about 50 channels all together and they include a handful of English Channels like Stars, CNN, etc.

I also purchased a USB TV tuner and want to setup a type of PVR devise.

My questions are

1) Where can I get English Television listings for Thailand like the ones offered by tvguide.com in the United States?

2) Does anyone know of any automated software that can download these listings and start/stop the recordings automatically?

I have a TiVo back in the states so I am ridiculously spoiled...The laptop I am using it on isn't dedicated to be a PVR...so that's one thing to keep in mind. And I live in Si Racha, Chonburi so I'm not sure if there's a specific cable provider/network that my apartment uses. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt you will find the listings that you want here in Thailand.

I am not sure the Thai's plan their viewing the way westerners might do.

The listing exist on the various web sites, but you will need to download and manipulate the data to feed a pvr.

You could approach UBC to see what they have, but I am not sure they even have

a programmable decoder.

All channel changing has to be manual.

The local cable companies are definitely not that organised.

It is all down to a manual slog.
