Yes, I agree as well... Ditto! :)

The Samurai with Shintaro. See it here.

Thanks BB ,thats the one. He would have made a first class sushi chef the way he sliced those ninja. :)

A perfect example of why they lost the war.

One:

With all that running, they were tired out when they got anywhere,

and

Two:

Their hardest blokes walked around with laundry baskets on their heads !!!

Yep, it certainly looks like a classic! :) Did it ever make it to the UK?

The Flashing Blade !!

Hey, wasn't that a French prog dubbed into English? Started with blokes on horses?

Nah, you must be thinking of Rolf Harris and Two Little Boys :)

Frogs v the Clogs..............Some dispute over bulbs or cheese.

It's right to fight for what you want and all that you believe etc etc.............( Spanish clogs at the time, so it could have been over a waiters job ) )

I guess I'm a bit older (and more European) than other posters

My favorites shows (already a teenager) :

- The Avengers

- The prisoner

As a kid :

- Zorro

- Rintintin

Are you guys blind? It's his bloody shoulder that has sprung a leak!

I was referring to the urge to punch his smug face. :)

Remember this fella?

That's Crowboy !!! :)

No it's not - in fact I have no idea who or what it is.

How is he ?

I am very well and as you can read back on line.

I grew up in an isolated region of Australia (yes it explains a lot) and we only had the ABC radio station 5CL so it was dominated by by parents. Memories of the Goon Show etc.

I was a border at school out of necessity and television was restricted to one hour per weekday and 3 hours on the weekend.

The TV room was the domain of senior borders and the two shows we watched were F Troop and Belbird. Anyone who foolishly said anything during either show was beaten up and removed for the remainder of the week. We watched in silence sitting on the floor with the House Prefects and seniors in the only chairs.

The other show that I loved was Shintaro. I only got to watch the show occasionally but was fascinated by it as he battled the forces of evil. The villains were the Ninja who for years I thought (somewhat confused as to why) were the "eager" ninja. It took me years to discover they are the Iga ninja named after the mountainous region of Japan where they lived.

Twilight Zone, Star Trek, Space 1999, The Beachcombers, The Six Million Dollar Man, Three's Company, Are You Being Served, The Two Ronnies. The list is a long one.

The Dukes of Hazzard. I had a major crush on Daisy and her infamous "Daisy Dukes".

Used to drive my mom nuts getting into the car through the window. And I still would love to have the General Lee to drive.

The Grey Ghost, The Buccaneers, Sgt Preston of the Yukon, Rin Tin Tin, Sky King, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, Maverick, Johnny Yuma, Cheyenne, Rags the Tiger and Crusader Rabbit, Rockie and Bullwinkle (but after Rags went off, same cartoonists) Robin Hood (brit version w/Richard Greene) Gunsmoke, Mr. Lucky, Peter Gunn,Robert Cummings Show (where he had a car that transformed into an airplane) The Honeymooners, Red Skelton Show

I could go on as I loved them all, but it shows why I'm so warped today, :)

I vaguely remember the Rowan & Martin Laugh-In, but that was the sixties, wasn't it?

Not much memory of those days at all.

And I wasn't a kid.

Except in behaviour and approach to life.

Ah yes, Burke from "The Trapdoor". Brilliant claymation. "Something just came out of the trapdoor, it was big and black with lots of legs". For those heathens who've never seen it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1q-bJKyLS8...feature=related

Remember HR Puffnstuff? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063907/

I knew it wasn't just the 60's as I remember it so well, finished in 1973. Wiki to the rescue...
