Visa On Arrival, 90 Day Rule

Featured Replies

hi,

in the past there was a special ruling on the visa on arrivals. you were only allowed to have a maximum of 3 per half year, or so if i recall correctly.

however, this year that rule was abolished so i was told by friends. can anyone tell me if this is still the case, or being more precise: how often can i enter thailand on a 30 day tourist visa within what period of time.

all help is much appreciated!

According to the new rules, as many times as you want. You are not getting a visa though, just an entry to stay for 30 days.

thanks for the info! but is this rule still applicable or has it gone back to "normal" (whatever normal is in thailand)?

I wouldn't have said so if it wasn't applicable ??

The 90 days in 6 months rule is gone. You can make as many entries as you want by air. By land you only get 15 days and are limited to 4 entries.

As said they are not Visas on Arrival. UJ is correct in what he said. 30 days by air unlimited. 15 days by land, limit of 4 back to back.
