Elephants and other sick animals evacuated from flooded shelter
Many other rescue volunteers have also headed up there to help out and many other community groups from around the country have collected supplies and made donations. Thailand excels at helping each other when the going gets tough. Meanwhile here on the forum we have a few snide remarks from the usual culprits who are doing absolutely nothing apart from criticize. They should be deported. -

Harris Lies, Americans Die. Illegal Aliens are more Important
Apart from the fact the hurricane was man-made, caused by the Dems to sweep in and try to look good just before the elections......MTG is the source and you can't argue with her. Didn't Vance say she was a genius? -

Drunk Crashes Into Motorcycle, Killing Two 14-Year-Old Girls in Tragic Wrong-Way Collision
The idiocy of the the response really should not warrant a reply..... You are comparing adults to children - so, no... of course I wouldn't hold a 66 year olds parents responsible for their crash. If my 10 year old son were to get the keys of my motorcycle or car and take it for spin, causing an accident - both my Wife and I are complicit in the wrong doing as we are the legal guardians of the child. The same can be said when he is 14 year old. The same can be said of any parent allowing their children to undertake dangerous activities. It also needs to be repeated, before you run away with further dumb comments - the driver is clearly 100% at fault, but the parents are also 'complicit' having failed in their duty of care. -

Tim Walz's Verbal Missteps Stir Concerns Amid Tight Campaign
Supporters are irrelevant in an election. He has to convince the undecided to vote for him/ her to make a difference. If he can't present himself as a viable POTUS if the need arose, it's not looking good for him and by association, her.- 1

Having kids when old
You are correct. Some people will attack you for this common sense and factual statement, but you are right. Birth defects are more likely with older parents because the parents DNA is more likely to be damaged and unrepairable. As we age, the human body healing mechanisms slow down. More errors are likely to be made during cell reproduction. Sperm is more likely to be deficient and weak. Those are the facts that many will deny because to accept it is to accept their own mortality. It is a gross act of cruelty to have a child and not be there when the child is growing. Most of the geriatric farangs who have kids are not in the best of financial situation which is a double whammy. Not only will they not be around to provide support and counsel, they won't be able to ensure that the child has a good start in life.- 1

Well, I was replying to someone who claimed that the adverse and harsh conditions in Europe created a people with higher ingenuity. I then replied that a problem with that claim is that Taiwanese, Japanese, Hong Kong Chinese, Chinese, Singaporeans, and South Koreans have a higher IQ than Europeans. And also that in Siberia the even harsher conditions would then have had to create an even more ingeneous people, but photography, x rays, or the telephone did not come out of Siberia. So you then texted the ICI, because there the US and UK have a high ranking. However, as we have established, that index takes into consideration the work of non American and non British, indeed non Europe people, the finest lecturers in the elite universities. So we agree basically that the ICI is not useful in supporting the claim that Europeans are more ingenous because of harsh conditinos. Okay. I don't have a "need" to "speculate" about whether or not the ranking of elite US and UK univerisities is due to non-American and non-British lecturers, that's an obvious fact. I've been in in Oxford and I can tell you it's the most international place you can imagine. If you take non-European people out of the UK or US universities, their rankings will drop. Considerably. I'm not speculating. That's a fact. -

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
Thanks everyone! Lots of useful information! I don’t want to look at second hand as I want to finance. thanks for the recommendation of the mg ZS ev - I can’t find it at that price? 1. Questions about this model - someone said it’s going to be phased out, is this bad? Is there already a new model? 2. Would the Atto3 be a better option? 3. We also looked at the M6 which is a full electric mpv and that looked nice too! 4. Has anyone seen or read anything about the sealio ? It was real nice to drive and hybrid but can only do 90km on ev.
