ABC Pacific TV has the pre season games on this weekend, but my hotel does not have that channel. Is there a bar or other location that might show these games? I am keen to watch the game on Saturday night in particular. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Try the Number 1 Western Bar.

Friendly place and at least one of the two owners is from Oz, name is Leigh.

If you stand outside the main entrance to the Kaen Inn with your back to the entrance, turn left and walk to the large street (sorry, I forgot the name its 18 months since I was in KK). At the cornerof this street turn right and walk up about 5-10 mins. The bar is about 20 yards into a small dead-end soi on the right. Can't miss it.

I must say i do prefer a bit of rugby.

I found the bar, not quite where you described it though! It was closed by the time I got there, but will try again tonight.

A guy I spoke to outside the bar said they showed all the sports channels, but ABC Pacific is not a sports channel, so I will have to wait and see!

that sounds like the bar near the railway line and MR Chai's on the other side of the road.
