ON 1st July 2009 a Thai woman was brutally stabbed to death at a house in South Pattaya.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Eakdit Srimoon of the Dongtan police district was notified at 3:30 pm and a police team including Police Colonel Teerapol Jindaloung, acting temporarily on behalf of the Pattaya Superintendent, together with the rescue services, were dispatched to the scene of the crime at house no. 407/160 Karn Kehha Tehpprasit , Moo. 12 Nongprue, Banglamung.

From the story, it seems to me there is allot more to this story than is being told or is known at this time. I'm sure she wasn't killed because she wouldn't pawn a ring for the alleged killer. Also, it would be very unusual in Thai culture for a girl to have a younger man as a BF as is being claimed in this case.

It's a sad story whatever the reason.

That whole area is a den of prostitutes, thieves, and low level drug dealers, the police know it, the property owners know it. What can you do? You convict (or evict in the case of the home owners) one group and an identical group moves in.

n'Mam stole the stolen ring (or rather already sold it and didn't give the funds nor return anything to the murderer). She was also two months pregnant. Her crying mom is the photo is named 'Mod' a well known '40 Room' area drug dealer. Oldest son (Mam's brother) on death row for 3 separate murders. The boyfriend and murderer also lowlife dealer/gambling debtor types.

Life isn't an episode of 'Law and Order,' sometimes it really is just dog eat dog at the bottom of the barrel.

Rage Crime - def not over a theft of a ring.

Theft of ring as trigger for pent up rage of: failure after failure in a fairly hopeless life (with stealing his mom's own ring and then getting it stolen twice over as more salt to his wounded ego).

She's been cremated, her funeral was this evening. At least she doesn't have to deal with the crappy life she was dealt anymore. RIP
