An administration oversight only. Vic left the mods team before the honorary member group was created & he was missed when other ex-mods were given the title.

Miggy quite rightly drew this error to G's attentions & it was sorted. IMO he was one of the best mods we had & I for one (not the only one either) was sorry to see him go.

Some regular members are more regular than others. No idea what honorary member entails, ( is it like getting 100 at Lords?)

Can I just raise a little point here that has been bugging me for some time. The term 'honorary' doesn't mean what it should do these days, it is now, and has been for some time, a term meaning 'didn't really qualify, but got it anyway for being a nice person in some other way' ..... (think honorary doctorate)

Honored Member would be better.... that instills a meaning of reverence. (You can stick a u in it if you like)

Well Boo, can you bring to Miggy's attention my long running campaign and quite concerted efforts to having my status converted to 'Dishonourable' member, something I believe to be deserved and from what I can gather from the membership, a land slide vote winner.

I know my member is advanced most of the time, but I still prefer to be known as a country member - and can't change this any more.

We are all lumped in to one or two mass-population categories. No individuality is being allowed to us

I've passed the three grand milestone and didn't realise it!

So how much wasted time does that represent?

What with reading all the other posts, laughing in the wrong places, thinking up reponses and so on, maybe twenty minutes for each - that's a thousand hours, or around six weeks at 24 hours a day, nine weeks at waking hours.

I've lost nine weeks drinking time!!!

A load more greenies added to the list I see. I guess now all ex-mods who are considered to have been worthy of recognition are greened up - so a useful indication, then, as to which ex-mods weren't held in such high esteem!
