No, it is for serious discussion, I see little point to Bedlam at the moment and I feel that these two topics lend to its stagnation and the two threads in question sole purpose is for post count.

I don't think they should be moved to pub. It would give the word games people a loophole to fill the place up with the silly words games again.

sbk beat me to it, but I was going to point out that all the word games were moved out of "pub" some time ago and lost in limbo for ever.

Another point: a lot of posts in these threads were intended for Bedlam readers only and would be lost in transferlation.

Ergo, the threads would have to be closed and restarted elsewhere for it to work.

Also Ping and the tiger guy would have nowhere to go to continue building their massive post counts.

So my thoughts are: yes, close them and move to much less censureship in Bedlam to spice the place up.

Possible a reintergration of "Box" may revive some serious debate here. (With US politics and English soccer being excluded)

Your first point is pretty much in line with my thoughts, Bedlam needs a pick up, although I am not entirely sure of your censorship criticism, I think most things can be discussed, as long as people are able to debate without the need to use CAPS and derogatory mud slinging.

Obviously the Royal Family is off limits and to a certain degree prostitution can be discussed here ( I stand to be corrected on this point ) within reason and I think that once it gets outside certain boundaries, it should be curtailed, this can be discussed elsewhere if that is peoples wishes.

I am a little unclear on the censorship route OC, have I missed something?

As for your second point, Lansdowne Road is the home of the finest rugby playing nation and on occasion something called soccer, currently under redevelopment and to open early next year.

The other was a random sentence of no proper continuity, both would be considered as word games in my book, so yes it is worth considering.

Now this is all down to your views on Trolling, if you throw in Sinsot in General or even any number of subjects that most and sundry will respond to, even though it has the cutting action of a blunt axe, then I agree Trolling is Potless and a worthless waste of time.

However, there is another view that Trolling can be viewed as a subject that can generate debate, even though the stand points are going to be entrenched and when this throws up a situation where a 'Frank exchange of Views', are countered and sharp responses are controlled and measured, just to lighten up the situation.

Utter rubbish..... neither TLW or RP could be considered as word games, sometimes you get a chain of continuity, sometimes you don't, both are totally dependent on if the poster at the time wants to write something that is relevant to the previous post, or wants to go in a completely unconnected direction, in neither are there any rules to follow.
