English Speaking Bike Shops In Chiang Mai?

Featured Replies

hey guys im looking for a bike shop that is reputable and knows english...

i picked up a 1996 NSR 150 RR yesterday, and may want to do some work to it.

let me know,

Thanks!

I don't think there are any English speaking bike shops in CM.

You may find a bike shop with English speaking staff though :):D :D :D .

Try the Gt riders forum. Most of the guys are based in and around CM

In Chiang Mai for an English speaking mechanic & good big bike service try Nat at Piston Shop on Assadthon Road

I can confirm that not only does Nat speak great english and seem to run a clean and knowledgeable shop but actually advised me against spending too much money on him doing jobs when he could have taken far more from me.

If only Phuket had a shop of the same quality. :)

sounds like a good gut to know............ :D

I admit my own experiences on Phuket have been coloured by a long series of rip offs, scams, thefts, incompetence etc and as such I have a pretty poor attitude to Thai engineering competence, so maybe it was just being impressed with the honesty and communication more than most.

Also Phuket is kinda biased for choppers and cruisers not 4 pot screamers and sportbikes. But CM seems to support a much more diverse biking community.
