Wall Mounted Tv

Featured Replies

Having a lounge that comprises of 3 lazy boys I watch t.v in a semi reclined position meaning I need the tv high up on the wall. However its a home theater and true vision so a fair bit of wiring. Not a good look so how would they be hidden trailing down from the TV, any thoughts?

You need to build a false wall to cover the wiring, or dig a trench in the concrete, but the latter could become more problematic.

You can group all the wires with this:

agree, can be an ugly look. Dont think cutting out trenches is an option if youre renting, or wanting to run wires into the wall, but i would tend to go for something like this

If you put it high enough, you can put the wires through the roof.

Not sure what you mean through the roof? they would still need to get back down the speakers? thanks for the replies i get the picture, Im thinking a colored screen bolted to the wall and tv bolted through it and wires dropping down from there

Nice where do you buy it? how much and depends how high up it goes , nee around 1.8 m high (roughly)

I would go with the trenching in the wall, all nicely finished afterwards to make it invisible.

Watch the cable lengths, I had trouble finding longer than 6ft (not even 2m)

and the cables must go in the tube before finishing.

There is no way to poke them down later.

Check first with your landlord if renting.

^^ sorry no idea, just my thoughts :)

try Index?... im not in Bangers, but im sure there are hi fi stores down there

Yeah looks great, except that equipment is not wired up in the photo.

Best bet is to cut a trench out, fit some conduit in there and use proper HDMi/Speaker etc... wallplates to make it all look nice. Or as others have mentioned you could build a small false wall, or box the wires in.

Plenty of long Cable lengths (we sell up to 100ft HDMI) available in Thailand.
