G'day,

We are eyeing a floor tile at HomePro that they currently list as a Super Shock Sale item. It is quite glossy but there is a version marked "Super Glossy" that cost about 30-40 THB more per sq meter. In a store, the cheaper version feels "sandy" or dusty, but in another, the same one feels equally smooth and glossy as the more expensive one.

We asked the assistant and he said the more expensive one has been treated. Not sure what that means, but he also threw in the buzz word "nano".

I am thinking once the tiles are laid, we can polish them. Also, during the tiling, the workers are going to smear the glossy thing anyway. So is there a point to the Super Glossy tiles or is that just a marketing gimmick?

thanks

Matt
