Barcelona Losses A Fan.

Featured Replies

According to The Guardian On-line (Wednesday, April 6th Football Quiz) , the recently deceased Pope John Paul II's Barcelona F.C Membership Card No. was 108,000.

Does anyone know if he was a member of any other football club?

I wonder if either were praying for a miraculous equalizer late on in the game?

I read in the past week that there were unfounded claims that the Pope was a Fulham fan or a Liverpool fan. More likely he followed the mighty Wisla Krakow or Cracovia Krakow in Poland. Possibly a regular at Lazio v Roma derby matches too.

For sure he was not a Sunderland fan ... :D Wer are cursed by the devil :o

I suppose he's not a Wrexham fan either then. While I was in ENgland last year I went to our 5-1 demolition of Wrexham at home, shortly after they had their points deduction. Even at 5-0 down their fans seemed like a jolly bunch and started doing the conga in their end. Unfortunately, the miserable Bedfordshire Constabulary put a stop to it.
