Truck Owner Distressed as Broker Crashes Vehicle into Pond, 4.2 Million Baht in Cash Lost
UPDATE Broker Confesses to Spending Missing Millions After Pickup Truck Submersion Incident Picture courtesy of ThaiRath In a bizarre turn of events following the mysterious disappearance of 4.2 million baht after a truck plunged into a pond, the involved broker, Mr. Thongchai Wongsuwan, has confessed to having spent nearly all of the money, leaving just 500,000 baht. He expressed remorse, stating that karma caught up with him as he planned to confess, but a car accident prevented him from doing so. The incident occurred on the morning of September 14, when Mr. Thongchai, a car sales broker from Ban Rai District, lost control of his pickup truck, sending it into a pond near Wat Huai Khanang in Nong Chang District. He initially claimed that 4.2 million baht in cash was inside the vehicle and had sunk with the truck. Local rescue teams managed to recover 500,000 baht from the water, but suspicions arose when the truck owner, Ms. Sawitree Ruammaitri, demanded a full investigation and even requested the pond be drained to search for the remaining money. However, the pumping was halted after equipment failure on September 15. At 13:30 on September 16, Mr. Thongchai met with Ms. Sawitree at Nong Chang Police Station to settle the dispute. They negotiated the return of the 500,000 baht found at the scene with she also demanded that the full remaining amount be returned in one lump sum, rather than in instalments. Mr. Thongchai stated he has now already repaid 2.1 million baht and, after today’s payment of 500,000 baht, still owes 1.6 million baht. While Mr. Thongchai offered to repay in monthly instalments of 50,000 baht, the other party requested a single payment or valuable assets as compensation. During the negotiations, Mr. Thongchai admitted that he fabricated the story about the money sinking in the pond. He explained that he was shocked and panicked at the time but did not intend to deceive anyone. He confessed that he had spent nearly all of the 4.2 million baht from the car sale, leaving only 500,000 baht. His initial plan was to confess everything, but an accident occurred, almost costing him his life, before he could do so. The investigation continues as authorities look into the case further. -- 2024-09-16 -

Your Girlfriend's Average Sandwich Quota
But it DOESN'T have just two ingredients. You are just making that up without actually checking beforehand; a practice often undertaking by many of our 'esteemed' members 😊 Just for you, as you played along nicely: Since you are from the USA, we'll use that as a starting reference. https://www.nestleprofessional.us/nestle-carnation-evaporated-milk-6-x-97-fl-oz Evaporated Milk ingredients: MILK, DIPOTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, CARRAGEENAN, VITAMIN D3. Compare that to the product to which you linked: https://www.tops.co.th/en/carnation-unsweeted-condensed-milk-405g-8850124018205 Ingredients: Milk Powder 12.5%, Maltodextrin 8.3%, Palm Olein Oil 5.6%. Not even closely related and we won't ask about the remaining 75.6%. That is their equivalent of your Evaporated Milk, not Condensed Milk. Now let move to Condensed Milk(we'll use UK for this one): https://www.carnation.co.uk/products/condensed-milk-and-caramel/condensed-milk-tin Ingredients: WHOLE MILK, SUGAR. Usually 55% milk and 45% sugar. BREAKING NEWS Second Assassination Attempt-Secret Service get Trump to safety
I have no idea , Trump is the only G.O.P person that I know of , I haven't heard of any others For the first time I can remember, I agree with you! I think the majority of Republicans still support Trump, but he is moving out of favor with a growing number of them. I think many support him just because they know of no alternative. I have no idea who could replace him at the top of the party. Does anyone else have an opinion on this? -

Foreign National Killed in Early Morning Motorbike Accident on Koh Phangan
It’s easy to prove the opposite, because he didn’t like alcohol. As I said before, he was a healthy person, trained in martial arts and was going to the beach for his morning routine. The accident was because he was driving faster than he should + sand + wet road. You can blame he was not wearing a helmet (something very common in KP unfortunately), but he was not coming from a party as mentioned before. -

BREAKING NEWS Second Assassination Attempt-Secret Service get Trump to safety
It was one of the 8 charities that the foundation support which had its fund misused by Trump. There was no evidence of donations to charity by Trump personally. Trump didn't given any of his own money to the Foundation. Almost all the fundings came from other people including some of his business associates. You are embarrassing yourself defending the indefensible. -

Thai Stocks Surge with New Government Policies: Investors Eye Mid-Caps
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has surged by 6% this month, fuelled by the Pheu Thai-led administration’s progressive policies. Brokerage firm Bualuang Securities (BLS) revealed that a range of listed companies across various sectors are set to benefit significantly from these changes. The new government initiatives include a 10,000-baht digital handout, debt restructuring, and substantial infrastructure investments. These measures are expected to drive up the Thai index and spark a frenzy of stock speculation. BLS is urging investors to focus on mid-cap stocks in sectors like retail, consumer goods, food, finance, construction, transport, tourism, and healthcare. Retail giants such as CPALL, CP Axtra (CPAXT), Berli Jucker (BJC), Home Product Center (HMPRO), and Dohome (DOHOME) are predicted to reap substantial benefits from the forthcoming digital wallet scheme. Beyond retail, the consumer, food, and finance sectors are also poised for gains. Companies like Carabao Group (CBG), Osotspa (OSP), and Ichitan Group (ICHI) are well-positioned to benefit. Financial institutions and asset management firms, including Krungthai Bank (KTB) and TMB Thanachart Bank (TTB), stand to gain from government-led debt restructuring efforts. The policy initiatives also include plans to cut electricity tariffs, expand fuel sources, and set a single price for electric trains. These are expected to boost companies like Gulf Energy Development (GULF) and Gunkul Engineering (GUNKUL). Transport sector leaders such as BTS Group Holdings (BTS) and Bangkok Expressway and Metro (BEM) are projected to benefit from an increase in infrastructure projects, spanning rail, road, air, and water transport. Tourism is another sector set for a boost, with policies aimed at easing visa processes and promoting major events. Key players like the Asset World Corp (AWC) and Erawan Group (ERW) are positioned to capitalise. Infrastructure plans further extend to firms stepping up in logistics and water management systems, such as Ch. Karnchang (CK) and Sino-Thai Engineering and Construction (STEC). The growing focus on modern agriculture and higher domestic sales could lead to gains for companies like Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF). Finally, the medical sector is also expected to flourish, with companies like Bumrungrad Hospital (BH) coming into prominence under the new wellness hub policy. Investors are advised to stay alert and consider mid-cap stocks that align with the government's new policies for potentially lucrative opportunities. File photo for reference only -- 2024-09-16 -
