Need Long Lease Apartment And Activities

I am moving to BKK to work in Bangpoo Industrial area, Sukhumvit 37 Road, I guess it is south eastern of Bangkok.

I have a small budget of 7000bt per month, is there a decent furnished apartment of 1 room available in or around that area? Or how about a $1 million BT house or apartment there too, I can consider an investment.

I checked out the website of Avana hotel, anyone has experience with this hotel? http://www.hotelthailand.com/bangkok/avana/

Their monthly lease is within my budget. I checked the Rinarda service apartment, quite horrible and poor quality for the same price.

I have google searched but ended up practically no apartment in those areas.

Anyone working in those areas?

I play badminton as a hobby, and it is going to be diffcult to have this sport in that area isn't it?

:o

Armortec, my advice? Chill. Just check into any hotel in the area and scout it out after. Make no comittments prior, other than a night by night hotel until you get a feel for the area. On the other 'investment' impulse, take even MORE time - no rush. Badminton? You'll find a shuttle bug out there as well no doubt.
