Ijust accepted a job in chiang rai, and was wondering are there any decent and inexpensive places to rent a motorcycle on a monthly basis?

Now it might be cheaper to purchase a motorycycle and pay by the month.

looing for a honda automatic

thanks

jeff

Hey Jeff

I'm new to Chiang Rai myself although one thing I was shown on my brief visit was the world class hamburger joint near an old runway on a driving range. The burgers looked pretty mean and will feed you for a day I'm told. I found a 3-bed town house with a swimming pool last week for 6k. It's a bit rough around the edges but with a lick of paint and a bit of nice furniture it could be a winner. Will you be working at the new intl. school?

The new clocktower 'Goldy Tictac' you certainly will be able to find.

From there you descend the 'street of carnal desires' as local Thai

people call it and after fifty meters you will find ST Motorcycle rent

at your left.

I have known him for years and heard never anything problematic

about his shop. He and his wife are fluent in English.

Good luck!

As Limbo already mentioned, ST is probably the best place in town to rent long term. Although, most of the guesthouses that rent bikes also offer monthly rental rates.

Welcome to Chiang Rai.

Good luck to you and the kids
