If you gave your mum one up the bottom - then yes!!

Well I don't remember that part, but as she's dead it will be hard to verify

Good choice.....................( I know where you live )1zgarz5.gif

So, back to the speaking french thread,

This guy is the new one that comes after Francis and our old friend Johnny Halliday.

He is young, and cute and i like his way..

Think about it, music is not just English songs. You can listen to a song in a foreign language and like it.

It also comes from living in a country where there are lots of languages and you have to integrate.

My parents lived here for almost 20 years without speaking a word of french.

Whereas, I, spoke it from the age of nine.

I think in english and in french, if i can't find a word in one language i shall find it in another...

Ding dong.

My first wife was Spanish (she still is Spanish, but no longer my wife)(so what's the correct English phrase?). Although our daughter was/is bilingual, she prfers English, as she knew when she was little that the very sound of the Spanish language meant she was in deep, deep trouble.

She's recovered quite well though, now teaching Spanish and French at some school with a fancy name in the Home Counties.

Me - I fixed the brakes on my French master's bike, so he went whizzing round a roundabout at breakneck speed - learnt most of my foreign languages by working in strange lands, with even stranger companies.
