Good stuff. Both hilarious and factual at the same time.

Factual? If you think that right-wing propaganda is factual, you are more deluded than I thought.

Considering the source I'll take that as a compliment. :)

Reuters busted ONCE AGAIN for falsifying war footage to demonize Israelis and glorify terrorists.

Hamas fake photos: Another Cropped Reuters Photo Deletes Another Knife – And a Pool of Blood - Charles Johnson - The Lizard Annex - True/Slant

Hezbollah fake photos: Reuters Photo Fraud

Israel isnt squeaky clean either when it comes to falsifying media.

Either are you. There is one photo that is supposed to be outdated - that I have never seen before other than on this one terrorist enabling website - and a bunch of sarcastic comments about crude weapons that were used very effectively by the mercenaries in the video footage that was all over TV and the internet . They are not exactly the same thing.:)

theyre both playing the game no doubt about it, but Im happy for a full independant impartial enquiry to come out.

btw, great to see some goodwill come from Israel. They have now allowed jam and sweets into Gaza. Who knows what carnage could have come from these once banned items. whistling.gif

Could it be due to Israels acceptance of the British plan to ease the blockade in exchange for a watered down probe?

But surely a (disputed) illegal raid on an aid ship in International waters with people being shot in the head by a military unit that has gained widespread criticism, even from certain friendly quarters is important

Surely a ship full of fake "peace" activists and mercenaries who have announced to the world that they are going to run a legal blockade meant to keep out missles and war material and then violently attacked soldiers is important... :)

Is Mairead Corrigan a fake 'peace' activist?

I bet I see another dodge answer coming

Donnyboy,

Don't be so silly as to question White Phosphor on here, the question never gets answered, mine don't anyway, but youneverknow, things might change,

Besides fake "peace" activists and mercenaries the ships also carried a number of useful - terrorist enabling - idiots. :)

ALL weapons are terrible - napalm, incendiary grenades, mines, shotguns, nukes, molotov cocktails, suicide vests and so on, but warfare is how mankind has settled differences since the beginning of time and scumbags who wage war and use women and children as human shields do not help anything. Maybe certain "civilians" should be more careful about who they choose to lead them?

If you were here more often you would have found the discussion about it a few months ago.

Someone posted a short documentary on the use of WH and upon closer examination the documentary was misleading, showing all kinds of grahic photos of dead people who were not killed by WH. That's a warning flag that the makers are full of sh*t.

Do I defend the use of WH? I don't know too much about it (and that documentary didn't help). On one side is the US Military which believes there is a reason to use it in the cases where they do. On the other side you have people who think the US Military has no other objective than to inflict as much pain and suffering on innocent civilians as inhumanly possible. I put more faith in the judgement of the former. They aren't perfect, but the other side is much further from being so.

Here's Obama's little gift to the Palestinians. The tidy sum of $400 million taxpayer dollars should buy lots of candy and jam.

Oops! Wait a minute. This is pledged to the Palestinian President who has nothing to do with Hamas, where the blockade really is. This money will go to the West Bank, which is not under blockade, to be used for such items as rockets, C4, vests with pockets, AK-47s and cell phones. Gaza gets zilch.

Too bad, Hamas. You should have courted Obama during his campaign and you, too, might be in line for some ready cash.

Pork For Hamas

Posted 07:00 PM ET

Diplomacy: President Obama sat for a White House photo op with the Palestinian Authority's leader and then announced a $400 million aid package for the West Bank and Gaza. What's wrong with this picture?

The president seemed to go out of his way this week to please his latest guest, President Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority, in a way he didn't when Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, came calling last month.

Declaring "the situation in Gaza (as) unsustainable," he called on Israel to lighten its blockade on the terrorist-led regime in Gaza. And as a sweetener for the Palestinians, he appeared for an Oval Office photo with Abbas. Such a photo op was denied to Netanyahu.

Then the president whipped out the government checkbook to present a $400 million gift to Abbas' government, $70 million more than the original commitment, supposedly for public works projects in the West Bank and Hamas-ruled Gaza.

According to the White House Web site, the U.S. will build five new schools in Gaza for $10 million, plus provide $240 million in West Bank mortgage aid, fresh water pipelines and health care.

Why the U.S. should be supporting a regime that so far this year has fired 370 lethal rockets into Israel, that still refuses to recognize Israel's right to exist and that has made a cottage industry of teaching children to hate is beyond us.

Extra cash for the same people who danced in the streets on 9/11 will just free up more resources for new terror and mayhem against the Jewish state. Some $10 billion has been spent globally in the last decade on Palestine, and places like Gaza remain as miserably pro-terrorist as ever.

And don't think for one minute that Hamas will be grateful. Obama's remarks "were problematic and empty of meaning because they are part of a U.S. policy to prettify the siege of Gaza," a Hamas spokesman told AFP.

How all this aid will get to Gaza remains to be seen. Abbas' Palestinian Authority rules the West Bank and is a rival to the Hamas terrorists running Gaza, where it supposedly has no authority.

If the plan is to buy off Gazans so they'll vote for non-terrorists, it's hard to see how this would work. Hamas could refuse to let the U.S. build the schools, just as the group refused aid from Israel-inspected ships that ran the Gaza blockade. These aren't people who help themselves.

Nor can such aid ever help them as long as they remain committed to Israel's destruction. President Obama's aid offer was both expensive and naive.

still a drop in the bucket to what Israel gets, not incl access to the latest war toys the US has

It's still less than the amount the US has given to muslim Egypt and Turkey combined. Please post that chart if you can.

i was replying to chuckds post about the

little gift to the Palestinians

never the less, the lil gift wasnt to Hamas anyway so its a moot point

but if youre posting statements about combined aid of 2 countries, maybe you should find the chart?

Im sure the whole world has been looking forward to it ...

I do not think it is coming anytime soon.

Sorry, Donnyboy. Unlike you, the issue isn't burning a hole in my gut.

I have a suggestion for you, though. Why don't you get on the next ship running the blockade along with the radical Islamists from Turkey? You could then give us a down and dirty actual report from the scene.

I was the one who asked about the chart. Did you know that Iraq receives double the aid that Israel does and Turkey gets nothing nowadays? Turkey used to be #3 on the list but I guess with the fall of the USSR it's not so important anymore.

While the US gives more to Muslims than Jews - it's just that some people like to avoid that part.

Because it just makes them fat and rots their teeth?

I wonder thou how much of aid, given by the US to any country is spent on military equipment?

Correct me if Im wrong, but I would imagine the aid given to Iraq, would be mostly spent on rebuilding Iraqs infrastruture, hospitals and schools, and I wouldnt expect Israel would be spending the aid funds on the same things Iraq has.

In many cases a big part of it is credit toward military equipment.

In Iraqs case then? I highly doubt it.

Apparent execution by Israeli soldiers on board Mavi Marmara

Video broadcast by Turkey's Cihan News Agency appears to show two Israeli soldiers on board the Mavi Marmara on May 31, 2010, kicking and then shooting one of the activists. The broadcaster identifies the victim as Furkan Dogan, a nineteen year old Turkish young man who was also a US citizen. An autopsy has already revealed that Dogan was shot five times from less that 45cm in the face, the back of the head, twice in the leg and once in the back.

It's been recreated by Roman Polanski for propaganda purposes at Universal studios.

You can actually see the metal pole that he was beating the commandos with.

what about all the private donations that are given to israel by americans and countries like s. africa for example.

ever taken a close look at an israelie ambulance? look at where and who the money comes from to buy it!

i have refrained from passing comment on this subject up until now, but having spent 4 years of my life living in a small town between ashklelon and beer sheva, close to the gaza border and another 3 years in neighboring countries. i think i have seen enough to say, that what you read and what you are fed by certain biased t.v network stations, isnt always what really happens and close to the truth..

israel has always had a very strict policy about what information is allowed to be passed on to the outside world when concerning anything that has gone on within its borders and surrounding areas.

ever wondered why they have never been pulled about their nuclear reactor plant at dimona in the negev desert? no need to answer!

i am interested to know how many of you that have taken the time to add on this topic, have actually spent any time at all in the middle east.

may i suggest reading the following books for some insight.

1. the spy masters of lsrael

2. gideons spys.

3. anything by noam chomsky

4. victor ostrovskys (by way of deception)

Apparent execution by Israeli soldiers on board Mavi Marmara

When someone attacks you with metal clubs and knives, shooting them is called  self defense:)

3. anything by noam chomsky

"noam chomsky" That kind of says it all. :)

I have read plenty about the situation, including some of these books,  and talked to many people who have spent plenty of time in the Middle East and who would disagree with you 100%.

There are plenty of bigots - not saying that you are one -  who grew up in the Southern part of the US who think their biases are perfectly justified. I'm afraid that living somewhere does not make your opinion any more valid than anyone else.

The next time you try and convince us all that 25 years living in San Francisco makes you an expert on all things gay I'll remind you of the above...

They were attacked by  a much larger group of armed paid mercenaries. Unlike on television, in real life, Special Forces are soldiers not supermen.
