I have attempted to install Mozilla Thunderbird to manage my various email accounts

But with no success. This is what the installation looks like.

Q, New Account Setup A, Email account

Q, Your Name A, John Smith

Q, Email Address A, [email protected]

Q,Type of Server A, IMAP

Q, Incoming Server Name A, www.hotmail.com

Q, Incoming User Name A, [email protected]

Q, Outgoing User Name A, [email protected]

Q, Outgoing Server Name A, www.hotmail.com

So I am making some basic mistake here but, my PC skills

Are as you can see very basic, can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong

I should have added that the fault "Failed to Connect to Hotmail" or "Hotmail

Connection Timed Out" keeps appearing each time I try to use.

As setup in outlook express,

Hotmail is not an IMAP server, it is HTTP,

Server URL is http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp

This applies only to your hotmail accounts
